I ran into the pair today at bridge 68 in Stratford-on-Avon. They had been forced into taking an inside line around the bend leading North to the bridge by an oncoming boat. The canal under the bridge is very! narrow, and nb Albert decided it would get stuck due to the acuteness of the entry angle. No problem, because several onlookers (including me) helped by pulling the stern to the left (as in the first photo). And soon Steve was back as master of his boat and slid easily under the bridge and into Lock 55. Here are some photos of the encounter.
They have a blog site relating their experiences and photos while cruising at nbalbert.blogspot.com .
