Rain was forcasted for 11am and 2am so, although I wanted to visit the Kennet & Avon at Bradford (and the town itself), I didn’t expect to take decent photos or find boatrers who were in a sociable mood. Luckily neither scenario happened and the sun shone from a super blue sky punctuated with lovely white clouds……
I also encountered a very friendly couple crewing their narrow boat Laughing Gravy. Steve and Fay are from Gloucester which is their home mooring place. They are retired and live on the boat full time as does their alsation whose name unfortunately I cannot recall.
I took several photos of the portside of their boat when Fay told me they had only finished repainting the starboard side yet which looked far more interesting. So, more photos to take from the other side of the lock. A brief call to dispose of some rubbish and they were on their way. Happy Cruising!
