Birmingham may have more miles of canals than Venice but maybe it hasn’t that certain something that drags in a staggering 15 million tourists each year. So, what would you as a boater find there that is different from UK canals.

The video below perhaps gives some idea. Notice the technique of ramming the bows into the landing stage to straighten up the boat! BW/C&RT would just love this!
