The sky was largely overcast when I visited the Waterways Festival on the first day. The show had a large turn out of visiting boats on the Trent & Mersey Canal adjoining the site and also caravans. However, the number of people wandering around the show was disappointing – perhaps the next two days would attract more. Here is a slideshow of photos I took of the event.
