At last the final link is to be completed between the Droitwich Barge Canal leading West from Vines Park (in Droitwich Town)  to the Severn and the Droitwich Junction Canal leading East from Vines Park to Hanbury Junction on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal….

This superb event at village Stoke Bruerne had many attendees – boaters, vintage boats, walkers (like me) and others gathered from the locality. My main interest is to relate this to the superb canal system there. I will later report  on the wonderful atmosphere….

Falling Sands Bridge

I encountered nb Goldcrest 1 mile south of Kidderminster approaching Falling Sands Bridge from the South and a tricky situation………

I followed nb Moonshadow through the busy canal centre of Banbury……
